Spacious, level pitches in a gorgeous Somerset valley, with a stream running past, starry skies overhead by night and (crucially) a pub five minutes’ walk away – it’s no wonder the folk at Willow Stream Camping suggest that this is wild camping at its best along with the surrounding local sights.

During 11th -14th August it is the Perseids meteor shower where our dark sky's come alight with this spectacular meteor shower.

The surroundings here are those of Exmoor National Park, which means that the views are splendid by day and by night: this is an official dark sky area, so when the sun goes down those moorland vistas should be replaced by some impressive displays overhead (clouds permitting). You’re welcome to light campfires or firepits at Willow Stream to keep you warm as you wait for the stars to come out. Pitches here are wild in style. Guests have access to portable toilets, free hot showers, wash basins, drinking water, firepits, Wood available to buy on site. We are now a rubbish free site so all rubbish must be taken home with you or taken to our nearest recycling centre.
